Gomez has created the Mobile Web Benchmark series to raise awareness of the importance of Mobile technology as a viable and important channel for Web application delivery. The purpose of the benchmark is to provide an understanding of how industry leaders perform on the mobile Web.

The benchmarks in the Mobile Web Benchmark series include Gomez’s three fundamental metrics: Availability, Response Time, and Consistency, and two metrics provided by dotMobi: Discoverability and Readiness.
